Winners of 2019 Kwok Leung Research Award

The Kwok Leung Research Award is given to support research conducted by graduate students and young scholars entering the field of cross-cultural psychology.
We are happy to announce the winners of 2019 Kwok Leung Research Award:
Jorge Barahona-Ramirez & Melissa Arce-Chinchilla , Earth University, Costa Rica
Project Title : Diagnosis of the social and academic performance of indigenous students from 8 Latin-American countries in a multicultural environment.
Daniel Bagheri , University of Kansas, USA, Gesa Solveig Duden , University of Osnabrück, Germany, & Joyce Anna Ottereeyes , Université de Sherbrooke, Canada
Project Title : Indigenous Re-Assertion As Social Therapy: The Chorti Maya Movement, Empowerment and Identity
Our winners will receive $1500 US toward their research project expenses and up to $1500 to attend the next IACCP Congress in Olomouc, in Czech Republic (2020), where they will present their project’s results.
